  We’re truly captivated by this White Sake Cup. With its unique shade of white tinged with green, this cup glows with a rare, ethereal quality, and a color that is hard to describe. Unlike many of Iwata-san’s Anagama pieces, this one is glazed, giving it a subtle luminosity that emerges beautifully through the kiln’s firing process. The textures are mesmerizing—gentle ash deposits and natural markings that add depth and character. Like a chawan, the sake cup holds a special place in Japanese ceramics, often becoming a piece for daily use that connects deeply with its owner. This cup, while simple, feels as though it’s meant for those personal, reflective moments, making it an extraordinary choice for any quiet ritual.
