• Curator's Notes 

  This Candy Box feels like a celebration of small pleasures. Its base lifts ever so slightly, raising the vessel by just enough to cast a delicate shadow beneath. it is very subtle, but transforms the whole look of the piece. That gentle elevation turns whatever you place inside, whether beautifully wrapped wagashi or something as simple as coughdrops, into something worth admiring.

  I love this kind of refinement. The way polished cherry bark grain catches the light, the way the lid rests. It makes reaching for a sweet a special moment of its own.
