  I am a Cherry Bark Puffy Jewelry Box. I’m not soft, but I do look it. Round in all the right places, I’m the kind of “puffy” that makes people smile. Cute on the outside, serious about keeping treasures safe on the inside.
  

   

• Curator's Notes 

  The name says it all... “Puffy.” It’s not soft to the touch, with its beautifully textured raw cherry bark, but visually, it has that plump, rounded charm that makes you smile the moment you see it. The lid and base curve gently outward, like two halves perfectly balanced, giving the impression of something cushioned and precious. I imagine the artisan must’ve thought deeply in three dimensions to achieve this form. It’s deceptively simple but incredibly refined, a small sculpture that feels at home on a vanity or dresser. Whether it’s holding rings, earrings, or little keepsakes, this jewelry box has the confidence of something that knows it’s adorable.
