I am a Chihiro Saji Spoon. 1, 2, 3… Open wide, just one more bite!
This spoon has such a sweet story! Wood artisan Takashi Tomii originally made the spoon for feeding his baby, which is why it is named after his child. We also like the idea of ‘baby’s first spoon’ being made with love and care – with baby’s size in mind! The bowl of the spoon is small and oval-shaped while the stem is relatively long and easy to control for parents. The warmth of the material, a beautiful Japanese mountain cherry, is another great reason why this is the perfect spoon for a precious newborn.
