• Curator's Notes 

   

  Forged cutlery is made from thick pieces of stainless steel. The raw stainless steel in this collection is heated with a blowtorch in order to shape it by repeatedly beating with a hammer and other tools. This process causes the utensils to be very dense and in turn have unparalleled strength and weight. View the whole collection here.
