I am ‘Take’, a Glass Bamboo Teapot. Nature is always speaking to us, providing the right things at the right time. Where there is fragility, there must also exist strength, thus I was created with the delicacy of glass and the flexibility of bamboo that bends with the wind.
We have a newfound tea obsession at Nalata Nalata and this teapot has been opening our world to so many different forms of tea. When a teapot is made out of glass, the beauty is in the ability to see the subtlety in the colours of different tea varieties directly through the pot as it steeps. This teapot by husband and wife duo, Studio Prepa, was designed with the transparency of heat resistant glass in mind, making it ideal for vibrant coloured fruit teas and floral tea. We also like the handcrafted nature of the hand-blown glass and bent bamboo handle. A truly unique teapot!
