  This is the bowl that made us fall in love with Ryuji Mitani's works. Put simply, it's like a bowl and painting in one. This bowl fits in the palm and is the perfect size for snacks.

  • Features Ryuji Mitani's signature on the bottom of the plate
  • Exterior is black
  • Each bowl is unique in its application of white urushi
  • Do not soak urushi lacquered pieces in water for prolonged periods
  • Wash with a soft sponge and mild dish soap. Rinse with warm water
  • Wipe with a cloth and dry well
  • Each piece is unique and will have variations
  • Urushi lacquer will patina and change in texture and color with time and use
  • Do not place in dishwasher
  • Do not microwave
