I am a Jewelry Box. X marks the spot for treasure, but here a circle marks it instead.
We first met this charming hand carved and lacquered box in the form of a holiday gift from Mitani-san with no explanation of its specific purpose. We intuitively used it to store our most important jewelry: our wedding rings. We were delighted when Mitani-san since confirmed its purpose as a jewelry box -- but we leave open what matters most to you. We'd love to hear what kind of treasure it called for you to place in it.
