I am a Circle Plate Key Ring. Although I have a few round parts, I like to think I’m in shape. At least fit enough to carry a few keys.
I’ve never been one for bulky key rings. That’s why I gravitate towards Futagami’s versions. Intricately made in solid brass so they are at the same time durable and not too delicate for everyday use. The whole concept of a material aging over time is befitting of a key ring, something that you pull in and out of your bag on a daily basis so it would be interesting to see how these key rings look one or two years down the road when the brass patina evolves.
The Futagami ‘Plate’ style key rings are convenient because they are designed to be easily found when retrieving them in a cluttered bag. Look for the crude-cast textured geometric shape to locate your keys. The small plate also acts as a divider to separate your home and work keys.
