I am a Kiku No Hana Floor Lamp. I bloom brightest after sunset.
The Kiku No Hana floor lamp (meaning Chrysanthemum Flower) is one of the most beautiful standing paper lamps we’ve come across. There’s a delicacy to it that feels almost impossible with it's thin Japanese paper, fine wooden structure and the way the form seems to float. What we love most is the size. It has a real presence in a room without ever feeling heavy. When illuminated, the paper softens the light into a warm glow and the structure looks so ethereal.
It’s a reminder of what makes Japanese paper so special. Light passes through it differently in a way that is hard to replicate in other materials. Even when switched off, it feels elegant. When lit, it feels magical.
