I am a Slotted Ladle. I’m here to give you the latest scoop. But does my story have holes in it?
This ladle comprises a wonderful medley of metals, textures and shapes. The handle is a smooth swoop of gleaming brass, attached by small rivets to a head of mottled grey steel. Working from his workshop, Mitsuhiro Konishi makes piece by piece with painstaking attention to detail. Here, he has brought new spirit to the traditional kitchen ladle with contrasting gold and silver tones, a tapered neck, and a hand-hammered head with bold perforations. A hole at the end of the handle for easy hanging completes its charm and function. View Konishi-san's entire collection here.
