I am a Miso Donabe. Don-ya know how easy it is to make soup? Allow me to sho-yu!
We already love cooking rice and steaming in a donabe, so we were excited to see a new shape for making soups and stews! The porous clay produces heat evenly and holds heat for so long, allowing flavors to really build and sink in. The higher handles make it easy to carry the pot from the stove to the table, and the pot features a convenient spout. It's so easy to throw a bunch of ingredients into this pot and be rewarded with a rich and flavorful soup afterwards.
