  Ryuji Mitani put a fresh coat on one of his signature shapes. The thick black lacquer on this piece provides a solid anchor for any object sitting on top. Made of sturdy yet lightweight mountain cherry wood, the thick high walls of this tray make it ideal for transporting your fragile items without spilling or dropping.

  • Do not soak urushi lacquered pieces in water for prolonged periods
  • Wash with a soft sponge and mild dish soap
  • Rinse with warm water
  • Wipe with a cloth and dry well before storing
  • Each piece is unique and will have variations
  • Urushi lacquer will become less glossy and more matte as time goes by
