• Curator's Notes

   

  Momentum Orii has spent years developing a variety of treatments used to produce different textures and colors on copperwares. Most noteworthy amongst their vast series of products is the ‘Tone’ collection designed by Yukitoshi Toda. The trays in this collection are all solid copper but have different finishes. It’s a matter of personal preference which finish you gravitate towards. Each one is special in their own way, which is precisely why they are so fascinating. The undersides are untreated to really show off the copper core of each dish.
