• Curator's Notes 

  This petite picture frame is instantly striking. Light glimmers in the bevel of the glass, and shadows play in the darkness of the brass. Iʼd slip a photograph of my wonderful grandmother beneath the glass, but this frame will reverently hold any image of yours—a photo of a loved one, a cherished ticket stub, a piece of a postcard, dried flowers... Perfect for your bedside table, mantle, or shrine.
  
  Kasahara recently transitioned the Picture Stand from a glass to a plastic face. For our collection however, we specifically secured the remaining pieces made with the original solid glass. We love its weight and clarity, and especially the way the beveled edges catch the light like crystal against the darkened brass.

  • Frame can only stand in portrait orientation
  • Glass is secured by three clasps to a brass stand

  • Blackened antique brass finish
  • Supplied in a paulownia (kiri) wood box
  • Wipe with diluted dishwashing detergent and a soft cloth or gentle sponge if needed
  • Wipe dry with a dry cloth
  • Do not use a metal polisher
  • The color may fade slightly over time
