This large scale comport and dome is a testament to the time Kazumi Tsuji dedicates to crafting each piece in the Reclaimed Blue series. This large scale item is made of two different pieces — a dome and a base — that are individually blown, resulting in two distinct blue tones. When the glass is blown, precise measurements are made to ensure the pieces fit together. The item is given rounded edges and rims for a soft effect. Given the time and process to produce it, we can't help but feel that any dessert served in the comport feels extra special.
