• Introduction

  I am a Reclaimed Blue Ms.Garden Daily Cup. Nobody is going to be pushing daisies here. With much ingenuity (and heat!), I made my old materials come back into bloom.

   

• Curator's Notes 

  Kazumi Tsuji started using butterflies and flowers as motifs during the pandemic era to bring on a sunnier disposition and connection to nature. The pattern is also done through a very meditative process that evolved throughout the course of the pandemic to include versions with colorful enamel paint and earthy-toned tints. One-by-one, each cup made for this exhibition, is mouth-blown in reclaimed glass, outlined with the organic motifs, precisely cut and polished.
