I am a Round Cooktop Pot. Lidded but not always sealed, I believe in controlled outbursts. A tiny steam hole, a big difference. Some emotions, like braises, just need a slow simmer.
A rare detail sets this cast iron pot apart - a small steam hole in the lid that makes it especially suited for braising, simmering, and slow cooking. The steamhole can be opened or closed with a small pivoting cover. Available in Deep 20 cm, Deep 24 cm, and Shallow 24 cm versions, each is crafted by Oigen with the lasting warmth and weight of traditional Nambu ironware. We love how the design balances utility, with just enough innovation to improve the everyday task of cooking.
