  This plate is part of what Masanobu Ando calls his ‘Holland’ series characterized by simple shapes, wide rims and sweeping matte white surfaces. The proportions of the wide band really showcase what’s being presented in the center so the focus becomes on the food. This size is perfect for dessert, appetizers or breakfast toast.
