  • Introduction

I am a Standing Brush and Dustpan. "No matter where we go, I will be by your side. Our unbreakable bonds means we will be as one forever and face the world together"... even when our bodies turn to dust.

  • Curator's Notes

For a really long time we were buying tons of those plastic broom and dustpan sets that break down over a short period of time. I just remember when guests came over having to run and throw them in our pantry closet because they were just so embarrassing with their bright neon colors. When we discovered this brush and dustpan set, I immediately knew we had found a better solution… and I thought it was a nice size to boot. Perfectly sized for casual sweeping! At the same time I like how elegant it looks made with wood, a metal pan and a swiveling head. We’re also huge fans of Makoto Koizumi so when we discovered he was actually the designer, it made sense to curate this item to add to our cleaning supply selection.

Not to ramble on but just wanted to add that when you have nice cleaning tools you actually take care of them and take care of what you’re cleaning too. So instead of absolutely abusing our plastic brooms, we now take our time.
