Ryo Kashiwazaki originally developed the idea for an earlier \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/shop.nalatanalata.com\/products\/toddler-chair\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\"\u003echildren's chair\u003c\/a\u003e, and later revisited it while working on Aalto's \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/shop.nalatanalata.com\/products\/stool-60\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\"\u003eStool 60\u003c\/a\u003e. He felt that covering the seat in leather wasn't quite enough, and the shoes became the finishing touch.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eBeyond their wonderful sense of humor, they're surprisingly practical. Each shoe slips over a furniture leg, protecting the floor without the need for those little felt pads that inevitably collect dust or fall off. Made from leather, they'll also develop their own character with use.
