I am a Tagaya Wood Spoon. Regularly sought out for stirring, tasting and measuring, I'm the go-to necessity in any kitchen.
When developing this multi-purpose spoon, we wanted it to be the quintessential utensil you turn to in the kitchen. Made of durable Tagaya wood, otherwise known as ironwood, it can withstand frequent use and washing. Being made of wood, it is also non-reactive and therefore ideal as a tasting spoon to try hot sauces while seasoning on-the-go without burning your mouth. The deep bowl, that measures out approximately a half teaspoon, and long stem are excellent for stirring tea or coffee and for scooping sugar, spices and salt.
