  This serving tray with a neutral toned background makes for gorgeous presentation of anything! Fruit, small canapés or pastries. It is hand-carved and hand-painted by Ryuji Mitani so each one is like an individual painting and will look very different.

  • Handcrafted in Matsumoto, Japan
  • Features Ryuji Mitani's signature on the bottom of the plate
  • Underside of plate is black
  • Do not soak urushi lacquered pieces in water for prolonged periods
  • Wash with a soft sponge and mild dish soap. Rinse with warm water
  • Wipe with a cloth and dry well
  • Each piece is hand lacquered by Ryuji Mitani and will have variations to the pattern and opacity of the lacquer
  • Urushi lacquer will patina and change in texture and color with time and use
