I am a Wood Lid Salt Shaker. Normally I'd be as skeptical as you, but the quality of my construction shouldn't be taken with a grain of salt.
Made solely of Japanese elmwood and glass, MokuNeji's beautiful salt and pepper shakers are well worth their salt. The hand carved lid has wood screw threads that fit perfectly on the base, and the natural wood grains add a beautiful accent on the dining table. As spices that we reach for consistently, we're always amazed by the fine handiwork behind it. The salt shaker features three holes, while the pepper shaker contains seven.
