I am a Cast Iron Skillet Dish. I might be small but there's not a dish I can't handle. I've got two helping hands ready to help put a meal together.
Cast iron's durability, strength and ability to retain heat has always made it a mainstay in our kitchen, but I didn't fully appreciate its beauty until seeing this pan. This small, lidded cast iron pan is produced by the Suzuki Morihasa foundry that specializes in Nambu Tekki ironware. Made with a sand casting technique, the process ensures that the pan is rust-resistant, while giving it a subtly textured surface. The interior has a smooth enamel coating to suit all types of cooking. The pan's shallow depth would be the perfect size for a mini frittata or an apple crumble dessert.
