We discovered this matcha tea powder on a visit to a tearoom in Kyoto. What we love about matcha is not just it's taste and health benefits, but also the ritual of making the perfect cup. The process of making matcha is both fun and relaxing. This matcha is particularly nice because it is cultivated in completely pesticide-free, organic fields. It has a subtle acidity like bright citrus and a beautiful deep green colour. Pair with a bamboo tea bowl, whisk, ladle.
