What we love about the unbleached linen sheets by Nezen is the pure feel of the linen itself. There’s nothing added to it, no bleaching, chemicals or finishing, so it feels closer to the natural material just the way it is. It just feels good knowing it’s close to the skin and body. We also love how it softens with use and stays dry against the skin. They have become our go-to year round, especially in the summer.
From there, the pieces are straightforward.
The Flat Sheet is a traditional layer placed between the body and the duvet. It adds something light and breathable, especially in warmer months when you want something crisp and cool. It can also be used to wrap the Futon Floor Pad for added protection, though it isn’t necessary. In Japan, the floor pad is often left uncovered.
The fitted sheet is made for the mattress pad, but also comes in US mattress sizes. With elasticated corners it easy to pull on and off. It keeps everything in place and makes washing simple.
The Pillowcase Small is designed for smaller pillows or the Camel Hair Pillow. The Pillowcase Large is designed for standard size pillows like the Down and Feather and Feather Pillow. In this linen, it feels especially good against the skin and is a great match with the natural materials of the pillow itself.
